Normal Palamino temps

What is the average temp for a Palamino? A friend of mine says his is running at 52C, and it sounds very high. He's having all kinds of problems with it ATM, so I told him to bring it over. I plan on reseating the HSF, but still, is 52C too high for a stock speed CPU?

Mine averages around 38 idle with an Alpha8045 and a Silencer 80mm fan.

My friend has a volcano7, a HUGE heatsink that sounds like a jet engine, and he gets near 60c load. Pally's are .18 fab, as opposed to tbred's .13, so they make much more heat per mhz. They also run at higher voltages.

i have a palomino 2000+, at full load it runs at 38 degrees c. it has only ever gone higher when its o/ced to be a 2400+.

Could be that his case teps are high also ?
