Need help with farcry freezing on loadup

Does anyone know what the problem could be? Ive tried fresh installs and new drivers.

Little facts about rig im trying to get it working on

P4 2 gig, 1 Gig ram, 80gig HD, FX5200 ultra. Running the 60.?? driver.


Anyone have any other thoughts on what i might do? I cant even get to the options screen to change settings.

Oh Yah, I have also installed the 1.1 patch.

i was having problems loading up the demo when i first installed it, and what i did was change my AA and AS settings to 'application preference' and then i was allowed to load my game. hope this helps, good luck! its a fun game :D
