Are these new CPU's going to only come in MP form? I thought that the Palomino (Athlon4) CPU was going to be just like a TBird in effect that it is not certified for multiCPU configurations like the MP. Can someone shed some light on this for me?

The Palomino's out right now (1.0 & 1.2) are more or less certified for dual systems. I have a Tyan Thunder K7 running 2x1.0. But I have also just put together an Epox 8K7A with the 1.2 Palomino - and it flies. I have it at 156x9 = 1.404 and it smokes the first machine in my sig. According to AMD's roadmap there is suppose to be a non-MP Palomino, and it should be out about the middle of Sept. The MP versions, however, seem to work just fine on AMD 761 motherboards.
these chips will prolly overclock better because the voltage will go up to 1.85 on normal boards and like the Palimino will take less voltage and will be much cooler
