well yeah.. kinda? they added some LEDS doesnt look like its aluminum, some new holes in the front, yeah pretty much the same. but are the dimensions, psus, or anythin else diff?
the fans are 120mm.
its definately a similar looking case
most likely they get their cases from the same company 'ACTS' who did the acts models for coolermaster awhile ago, they split off and decided to do work for many companys so i figured, eg the ACTS 201 coolermaster case and then they released coolermaster praetorian (looks the same (cuz it is)).

I like it. It's a cheap alternitive most likely. I mean, look at kingwin cases, they are pretty much Lian Li rip-offs, but they are much cheaper and pretty much the same.

Well it says Tsunami Aluminium Case Series next to each case so they must be Aluminium.
Didnt some of the Thermaltakes use Chiftec/Chenming Chassis too?

I thought almost all the Thermaltakes were built on the Chenming chasis, like some of the Antec's. Thermaltake just premods them. Like to know how well they look up close. I have seen a black Coolermaster Wavemaster up close and the finish on them is killer. Kingwin is a good lower cost Lian Li knockoff, but still not the same quality as the original.
Looks a better case than the WaveMaster cooling wise.
I liked the looks of them until I built a system using one.
Nice case but lousy cooling.
Looks like the Tsunami is going to be a big step up from the WaveMaster.

Didnt know cooling sucked that bad on the wavemaster. good thing I didnt buy the one I looked at. Thanks for the info. I may have to take a harder look at this one.

That mirror finish on that thing is sweet  .
I really like the 120mm rear exhaust fan. I hope these will be priced a little better than the wavemasters, they are sooo expensive.

How Well Do These Cases Cool?
wouldn't be too surprised if it was an imitation :)
SURPRISINGly, FarEast a member here is modding his coolermaster wavemaster with watercooling and he named it Tsunami (wavemaster in japanese).
Anyone thinks this case will cost lots cheaper, think again. Thermaltake cases are always expensive. Take Xasers for instance...

120mm and aluminum? I generally don't like TT cases but this looks alright. :)

Really? I was just looking at his thread and he said "Tsunami means Tidal Wave in Japanese (Or a wave created be a earthquake)"

Tsunami is a Japanese word with the English translation, "harbor wave." "tsu," means harbor, while the bottom character, "nami," means "wave."
This concludes your lesson for the day :)

Typical Thermaltake. Copy someone else and charge more for it.
Looks ok, I guess, but not nearly as slick as the Wavemaster. It's just got one 120mm fan in place of the two 80mm fans that the WM has. Hardly a dramatic improvement. The Wavemaster's more for cosmetics than anything else, and it looks like this one pretty much is too.

ATCS was a division of Cooler Master but closed its doors last summer. Nearly all of the designers from ATCS are now at SilverStone so I doubt the Tsunami is made by anyone from ATCS.

eh... =\ It's nice, but it'll still be at least $100, mirror finishes on aluminum cases aren't cheap. The coolermaster was nice because it was so smooth, I think they should have done JUST the fan holes and nothing else, there is too much clutter for my tastes on the front.
