For Nvidia Cards the XT is the "Budget" version. Eg. Fx5600, Fx5600Xt. The Fx5600 is the more powerful card and the XT version has a lower Core and Memory Clock... BUT with ATI Cards the XT is the more powerful card...
The Ultra is a more powerful version though with higher Core and Memory Clock.

With ATI Cards the "SE" is the budget version and XT and Pro's more powerful version, which makes it a little confusing eh :D
