Hey everyone, I've recently switched to an Epox 8KHA after having so many problems with the 8K7A. The board is running great, but i miss my ability to bump up the vCore past 1.85v without modification. I find myself craving more voltage, but currently there is no info for the 8KHA and vCore modifcation.

I have looked over the board, but i don't see one of the more common chips that monitors the voltage... but i do see a chip labeled "CS5301" located right above the mosfets. Anyone know how i can verify this chip and get a diagram of the leads? If this is the chip i will be able to mod the board for more voltage, which means a better overclock :)

I just went though this with Walter. Check the AMD Motherboards forum.

Here's link to its datasheet:

Google is best searchengine for chip datasheets, because it can search for pdf files.

Wega!
