OK, here's the thing. The fan for my P-90 heatsink is messed up. It has been running strangely for a long time now, but it just got worse. Basicly, you turn on the computer and the fan spins up. Then, after reaching some speed, the blades and the thing they are on starts having a barely noticible wobble and drops speed significantly.
Usually, playing with the fan will get it back to normal. However, just today, I found out that "normal" wasn't. I messed with the fan, and it sped up like normal, only the pitch kept going up, and when it finally stopped, I put my finger by the HS, and WAY more air was coming out than ever before.
I wouldn't mind if it stayed at my "old" normal speed, or new, but now it won't spin up to either no matter how much I mess with it. It spins, then starts wobbling a little, and the fan goes REALLY slow. I don't think the CPU can handle such little air for a long time. Usually I can fix it, but not now!!
Is there any way to balance a fan so it won't wobble??
