is it just me or are they really expensive? Enlight w 400w/supply for $130+?
Am I looking at the wrong places? I see them on pricewatch cheap but everywhere I look they seem to be real expensive. Any sites that sell cases cheap? I'd like one with the sides that come off instead of the U shaped top.

Most cases now have sides that slide off, so you should be alright there. Depends what you mean by expensive really - the Lian Li aluminium cases cost anywhere between £200-£300 (I think about 200-300 bucks in the US). That's without psu. Cheaper cases though can be had for generally around £50 over here for a mid tower (so probably about $50), though if you want a 'quality' midtower you'd have to pay about 60 or 70 quid. That usually includes a 250 or 300W psu - I think the reason the cases you're looking at are so expensive is that you're looking for a 400W psu (by the sounds of it). Cases with anything above 300W are really rare, and it's hard enough finding cases with 300W psus (at least it is over here).
Just keep looking - you ought to be able to find a decent ATX case with 250 or 300 psu for around 50-80 dollars (I'd have thought). I'd suggest getting one and then replacing the psu - if you try and find one with the psu you want then you're restricting your choice hugely (or try and find a case without a psu).
