I used to have a computer with a GeForce MX440. Now I have a computer with a Radeon 9600 Pro. The Radeon while being a very good video card works at too high temperatures and may soon be only a mid-range video card.
I might buy a new video card reasonably soon. I was planning to perhaps buy a Radeon 9800 Pro.
What are the nvidia-alternatives though? The MX440 was a very good card a few years ago and so I am considering nvidia too. How do they compare with price? I am probably not going to be buying an x800 Or A 6800.
