win media player7 and windows95?

I must get windows media player7 to play some movie clips I just ran into, but when I try to download it, it says you have windows95, and you can only get WMP6.4(which I already have).

Does anybody know a way around this?

Upgrade your OS may be an option as Win98 SE CD's are exceptionally cheap now that WinME has been released

Version 7 will only run on 98 or above. The 95 core won't accept MP7 (I tried it - it crashed)

I'm afraid the only way round it is to upgrade to 98SE

Which is no bad thing......
