Dont Buy 40mm Fan From Comp Usa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i bought a 40mm fan for my voodoo3 2 months ago and you know what?? the fan spin extremely slow until it generates heat which can reach 70C. my voodoo3 almost burnt!! i didnt know that until i smell something strange. if anyone of you bought fans form comp usa, please check whether they are spinning or not!!

You should send the fan back....sounds like the bearings were jamming. If it was new, you should get a replacement.....

Go get a 80mm while you're at it. Strap it to the card with garden wires or slot it into the neighbouring PCI slot and it'll take care of your Voodoo heat probs better than a puny 40mm.

yeah ive just got a 60 mm fan on top of the card in a t so it cools both sides works great !!!
