I ordered my 256 meg stick of Crucial PC 2100 DDR yesterday, and it'll be here tomorrow! Thats great service. Plus the shipping was free! Can finally get rid of my PC 133. Can't wait.

I will let you guys know. I guess I honestly don't expect that much improvement over the Sdram though. But I'll have to wait and see.

Well got the new Crucial PC 2100 DDR today. Stuck it in. Boom windows protection error. If I slow the ram down to it's slowest settings I can get into windows. But get errors, and games won't load. Drop FSB from 133mhz to 100mhz and runs fine! Whats going on here? This makes no sence at all. Likes it's PC 1600 not PC 2100? Guess I'll be RMAing this baby. That sucks though. Any idea's?

Here is what Mushkin's memory expert had to say to someone else who was having the same problem.

If your board allows memory voltage adjustment try 2.7v it might help.

Thanks for the link. It does seem more like a bug with the board to me. I can get it to run fine by upping the multiplier and running a lower FSB. Only problem is my multiplier only goes to 12.5. But I'm able to run a FSB of 120mhz with no problem. I'll have to experiment with it for a while.
As far as upping the memory voltage. I don't think I can on my board.
