Anyone know of a good site with lots of new game demos? Me GF2 Ultra is on it's way to me via UPS, and when it gets here, I want to be able to push it to it's limit. :)
I would use 3d mark 2001 to test it but www.gamedemo.com or jsut google the games you want demos for.

I like to use download.com (http://download.com) they have most of my favorite game demo's like UT 2k4 & Civilization III plus they have lots of expansions for games

www.pcgameworld.com is the best imo.

www.gamershell.com usually has several different mirrors, and I usually pull 100-200kbps from them.

Since you're getting an Nvidia card, you can go to Nvidia's website and they have demos of the "The Way It's Meant To Be Played" games. I always get 400k/s on downloads there. Good stuff and nice and speedy.

I know this sounds old fashioned, but you can also go to the manufaturers FTP site and download them there, just another option, been doing this at id software and some others since the web started, avoids all the popups and ad that we dont need to :)
