i have a maxtor sata drive and a gigabyte via athlon 64 board.... the website for the motherboard i am using is: http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/MotherBoard/Products/Products_GA-K8VNXP.htm
the bios recognizes the drive and evertyhing is plugged in correctly but when i go to try and install windows (this is a new machine) it says no hardrive found.... can someone give me a hand on how to install windows on a sata drive? there is no floppy disk that comes with the motherboard for sata drivers or anything
