Is this a good one for use on the 1.4ghz Athalon or should I use a different one?
edit: Thanks for the feedback on the Volcano 5, the 6 above is $39.00

it may work, but I would go with the SK-6 or a gladiator. Are you trying to find a budget HSF?

well not so much budget, but I can get the Volcano for $19, the other one is like $39..

yeah, check our http://www.svcompucycle.com. Their GoldenGate's are great price performance heatsinks and are not too much more than the Volcano5. It will outperform the Volcano5 with no problems.

how about the Volcano 6U HSF? I can get that one for $39.00

don't know about that one, but I would think in that price range the SK-6 or the Glaciator are going to be better.

Volcano good for minimal overclocking. Much more than that I'd say go full copper like one of the modles that Willam was talking about.
