did the L12 mod couple days ago, which did wonders for my mobile 2400+, got me tossing my 200*12 overclock out since its handling higher speeds much better. a/w, my mobo's limit seems to be near 220fsb, so i backed off to 217 * 11.5 to stabilize the cpu at around 2.5ghz. for kicks i left my tight timings on my ram: 2-2-6 cas2 command rate1t, and decided to run memtest. well, we just passed hour 7 at 217fsb cas2 2-2-6 rate1t :D
i may end up leaving it with these timings if it continues to be error free, makes sense i found 2-2-8 cas2 1t to be stable at 220 with 2.91-2.93 voltage, max on my board. surely i tried this over a year ago when i got the two sticks of level II BH5 pc3200, could the ram just be loosening up? other than the L12 mod i also added sinks to my mosfets this week, maybe they are helping my returns. hmmm, maybe i should try to hit 450mhz again.....
the motherboard is definitely holding me back though :/
