My 32MB nVidia TNT 2 AGP graphics card is dying.

I need to find an equal card, for cheap.

Any suggestons? (would prefer agp slot)

I take it I cant get a NEW tnt 2 since the card is pretty old.

Thanks

How bout the 32mb MX400? Its $50 in a local store here but online you should be able to get something like that dirt cheap.

Do a search on pricewatch.com. You can find a GeForce Ti series for 70- 100 and have a card that kicks the crap out of your old tnt card.

I agree on the MX4xx. Though, if you look around you might be able to find a GeForce 2 (non-MX) or a Radeon/Radeon 7x00. Those would probably be great upgrades for you for cheap. If you can spend more then definately do so.

I would go with an MX440 not a MX400.

They are alone $5 more and are a lot faster......Just stay away from the ati 9200SE.
9100 are really good buy these days. Here is one for $42.

I went from a 32MB TNT2 M64 AGP to a 64MB GeForce 4 MX440 AGP (stock fan cooling)- the difference was huge. Higher settings and even 2D was noticeably faster. Best of all, the upgrade only cost me $20.
