Fan Wires

I have a fan with 3 wires, red, black, and yellow. Which ones are which? And if I want to hook it into the 3 pins on my mobo which wires are which?

That would depend on your fan, can you tell us what type it is? The three wires are 1 positive, 1 negative, and one sensor (RPM sensor). Sometimes what you can do is peel back the sticker in the center of the fan to expose the solder points, and sometimes the negative and positive are printed on the circuit board.
