Boinc and hyperthreading?

Been running BOINC for a week now but it seems not to be optimized(?) for hyperthreading as it only uses two instances and about 50% of my cpus on my XEON dualy. :temper:

It should start 4 clients on a dual xeon. It automatically starts 2 clients on a P4 with HT.

go to BOINC, your Account, Preferences, General, and change

On multiprocessors, use at most 2 processors to 4 processors

Thanks TC and Sir Ulli, Imade the appropriate changes to my account and they saved, but didn't change on my computer.

Well I wasn't familiar with those settings on the web site. It may take it a little while to acknowledge the changes.

Well got all four working now, but wu's are only running about 4 minutes each.
