Win 2kpro cd reading problem?

I'm not sure what the problem is, but it appears that win2kpro sp2 doesn't read a lot of my burned cds. CD containing word docs, mp3s, files, programs.

Is there a solution to this?

Sony cd rom drive. 52x

i get this occasionally, just eject the cd and put it back in, that works for me
