View Full Version : D43's what are your settings??
trying to get my rig past the 1000fsb mark on 1:1 but I cannot do it with stability. To be honest I am not sure but do think its the ram thats holding me back. Rig in sig.
ram timings are 2.5,4,4,5
please incluse your voltages
I ran a set of d-43's @ 2.5-4-4-7 up to 270 FSB 1:1 They didn't need more than 2.75V to do it either. these were kingston value's if that matters.
I ran mine at 1:1 250 Cas 3-4-4-8 @ 2.85V/ 5:4 254 Cas 2.5-3-3-6 @ 2.75V....This ram came from my dell 8300 systems transferred to my P4C800-E........Hynix 8J-D43

its probably ur cpu... run the ratio at 3/2 and test ur cpu first to see if it will run over 250 fsb. my experience with the legendary d43 chips has been similar to the first 2 posts.. the newer d43 chips will run nicely at a max of 2.9v and they do 2.5-4-4-7& 3-4-4-8 timings well over 250 1-1.....

BT-d43 runs best with tras of 7 or 8. Mine never liked anything below 6 so try raising that as see how it flies :D

Tried to back the fsb multiplier back down on the ram and bump the cpu up but it looks like I am maxed out at 250 on this 2.4c
What about tighter timings, what can or should I squeeze and why should I squeeze the particular value??

You can try trp at 3 but the rest are as low as you will get them at that speed
