Hey guys, seriously I am finally very angry. Extremely angry!
Since i got this new rig which was last august, i have had problems with outlook. It lags everytime i open it. Hardcore lag where it doesnt show anything but white, like as if it crashed, which is what i assumed. BUt now its really bad i cant even click on the emails and it crashes now. Whats wrong, why do i get this, my oc is stable, it must be really really sensitive, nothing else crashes like that, just outlook....anyone else havet his problem, anyone else know how to fix this..

Will be totally appreciated,

Thanks

I had this exact same problem with my outlook. It would lag hardcore when I opened it and then it would get all unstable and junk when I checked mail. The solution I found was to disable a particular setting in the options menu that had it do something upon opening (sorry, I don't remember what the exact setting is and I'm not at the particular computer right now). Try disabling some things that execute upon outlooks opening and see if that helps any.

are you talking about outlook or outlook express?

with outlook express, it hangs on me hardcore if I have it set only to read newsgroups and not for email. However, launching it using the "news" button in Outlook gives it no problem.

Uninstall OE and use Mozilla or something. Is it really worth the headache to know?

I thought Mozilla is only a web browser, which i use. It has mail?

Either Opera/Mozilla/Firefox I'm pretty sure has an e-mail program as well. At least I thought.

some anti-spam proggie like norton is known to cause hardcore lag ... i used norton anti-spam before, and the darn thing locked my OE numerous times, and everything went back to normal when I uninstalled norton anti-spam ..

might want to remove all the OE add-ons as well .. run plain OE with the latest patches, and it shouldn't give you any problem :) .. hope this helps.
