HOT! Memory is BURNING UP! HELP!!!

i have 2x512 pc-3500 ocz EB memory on a dfi lanparty blah blah blah (see sig). vdimm is at 2.9v and its oced to 461 bus. It is about 115-f, 46-c. Is this too hot? its so hot that i cant hold my finger on it without it hurting cuz its SO HOT!!! Is my mem burning up or sumthin? thx :)

yes, it is burning... did u check the heat spreaders? check the gap between the heat spreaders and the chips :)

The EB runs hot.....it's nothing to worry about. I would put a fan over them as they will oc much better when cooled :D

I'm surprised the EB needs so much voltage just to do that speed.

is a 120mm fan needed? will the heat effect life? theres nowhere to put a 120mm fan also... any ideas?
