hi all just wanted to say i joined the team i have a p4 1.7, i know it doesnt perform as well as the amd's but i hope i can help! :)

i jsut added my old p3 700@ 1 gig tonight too...

i didnt have a case and ps before....

What did you sign up as? (So I can check that it is working correctly)

Speak for yourself Allen. He's only kidding about it being addictive. I's been folding 24/7 with 22 AXIA's for a few months and I never got addicted. :p

welp i signed up as touser(www.overclockers.com)
and i picked up electron microscope as well :)
i hope to have this p4 to 2ghz by the end of the week so that should help crank out a bit more?

Just remember its not the ammount of Mhz its the amount of FSB you pump into that CPU that causes it to fold faster. So water cool that P4 and crank em out.

I know how it is, I crunched nearly 600 seti units before switching to folding. (Mind you that is just with a single computer! Celeron 366, later a P3@1gig)

Welcome to the team fellow P4 owner. I run a P4 1.5. pay on attention to the AMD guys there ok. It's lonly up here at the top. LOL

Touser just let that P4 fold nobody cares where the WU (work units) come from as long as we keep adding them up.

It's just a joke guy's lets not start the AMD Intel thing. I have an Athlon 1.2 also. And I'll never admit in a court of law but the AMD is fast, ALMOST as fast as the P4. I didn't say that! LOL
