I don't know if this has been talked about. But, it looks like the 128-bit 9800 Pros have hit the US. Here's one. (http://www.allstarshop.com/shop/product.asp?dept%5Fid=124&pid=9032&sid=WRP5NGGMXDHU8GGSL3984FV9HSPF6AQ9) So I guess everyone needs to be a bit careful when order one. My main reason for posting this is to confirm that the 128-bit models will NOT flash to the 9800XT. I always thought memory and bit size has to be the same.

Newegg has them as well. We just need to watch the layout when buying one since these have different ram and coolers on them.
looks kinda familiar...

Ive seen these for a while now, but does this mean the 9700 is faster than the new 9800's?

Yeah, I saw this. That is just another example of why if I am going to buy and ATI card (and what else would I buy?) I will buy one made 'by' ATI. They don't offer any type of 9800pro, well almost pro cards.
BTW, how and what benefits do you get if you flash to an XT?
How do they get away with selling you a card working at 128 bit as a card that normally runs at 256 bit? That is nothing more than a 9600 pro isnt it?
