1 GB of DDR Ram vs. 1 GB of EXTREME DDR ram

I looked on www.alienware.com and they had these two difffernt Memory. Whats the difference in these two, and is it worth the extra money for a gamer??

The difference will be timings, one will most likely be 2.5-3-3-7 and the other will be a faster 2-2-2-6. Does it matter? Theoretically, it'll be faster, a noticeable difference? .......No. Not really. I wouldn't buy from Alienware in ANY case though.

probably some sort of boutique memory company that sells stix capable of running better timings than their normal stuff. like ocz or corsair
