Good 3D Mark 2000 Score ?

i just got a score of 5424 on 3D mark 2000 with my current config...is this low or high or average?

I don't have much experience with Radeon's, but the rest of my system appears to be much like yours. I'll run through a list of the specs. 1.4 T-Bird @ 1.4. 512 mb PC2100. Epox 8K7A. SBLive X-Gamer. The real difference in our systems would be that I have a GeForce3. For 3DMark2000, I get around 9000. For 2001, around 5500. I'm not sure how much of a difference Radeon -> GeForce3 would make, but make sure your AGP's running at 4x?

when running 3dmark2k did you turn all your settings down to see the max you could get or are those the standard benchmark settings. if that is max i would say your lagging some where. i don't think that the raidon could be 100% of the problem but 3dmark has quite a focus on graphics and fps. I would go into the bios and chicking every one of your settings(carefully). optomize every setting and you may stumble on somthing you missed of didn't know about before. look at my sig. I get ave. of 7366 marks when i run 3dmark2k @ lowest quality to reap the highest 3dmark score.

Which drivers are you using for Vid card? I am getting 10,200 with my system using the 12.90 Nvidia drivers.

i meant that i don't know if your raidon is a problem at all. sorry didn't mean to sound neg. twards your vcard:p . it kickes the poop out of my ORIGINAL Gforce. but it was great when i bought it. isn't that what we all say. :rolleyes:
