Impressive. I've got a 611/576 overclock, and I can't break 10000 :(

What did you do to get such a score? I'm already running my system as optimized as possible - no nonessential services, etc.

i get about 21,500 in 3dmark01, this bench isn't useful anymore because it is cpu limited.

Galt, how'd you get such an OC? with V mod? did you set all the visual setting for optimal performance? mine is OCed to 585/540 with v mod, im sure my core can go higher but going over 100mhz OC is scary for a brand new card. here is my highest score:

Nope, no voltmod. Just good cooling from my Swiftech MCW50 waterblock along with Tweakmonsters on the RAM. As for visual settings, I believe I'm good. I've got AA and AF turned off, of course. Are there other significant things I should know about? I've never been into 3DMark before, mainly because I've never had such a great card.

I really think I should be able to get another 1000 points at least, considering my OC. My highest right now is 9991 :(

have you changed the quality settings to preformance? make sure your card is in agp8X mode, what drivers are you running?

Well, through tweaking around a little bit, I've gotten to 10100. Still, I'd like to get over 11000. Quality settings are all on performance, and I'm using Cat 4.5 drivers. As for the 8X AGP mode...under Smartgart on the X800 properties, AGP speed is set to 'off.' Is that possible?

EDIT: Okay, if I change that setting up to 8X and restart, it just changes right back to 'off.' What's the deal with that?

im almost certain that is you problem, go over to the intel website and have a look

yah make sure you got the chipset drivers installed. check for updates + look in your bios and make sure that your have 8X turned on for your agp speed :)

Well, so far I've been running 584 core for about half an hour with no errors. After a look-see at the memory to determine what it can do, I'm expecting an easy 11000 run. Oh, and I *do* think I'm going to give you a run for your money ;)

Hey guys, just got an X800 Pro and I'm pretty pleased. Got 11067 3DMarks at 560/574 with stock cooling and no mods. http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=2612664 Definitely need to improve cooling as the core reaches 67°C during ATITool heat-up, but drops like a rock to 34°C after closing the 3D window. Has anyone measured a significant difference in temps after removing the shim and applying AS5? Is a VGA Silencer in the works for the X800 series? Any improvements from flashing to XT BIOS? What BIOS editor works with x800 series? I'll try the 16 pipe mod if I see more successful attempts with BBA cards. Any advice would be appreciated.

haven't and won't remove the shim, put on some AS5 for a couple C drop.. idle temps went up alot higher with xt bios on my card.... there is going to be a VGA silencer for the x800, look for the HIS x800 iceQ for pics
