Probably not, since it should be sealed all the way around...

No problem that I can see as long as you can tip the radiator durring the fill/bleed process to "burp" out any trapped air.-Or-Stuff is fastened down enough to allow you to tip the case for the same effect.

Have at it.

a related question:
Can you mount a heatercore in any orientation, as I am thinking of mounting mine upside down. Has anyone done this and did it have any adverse effects.

I would think that it would not, but just checking...

No problem with that either. Gravity has little to no effect on the water in a closed loop. As long as you can get all the air out, there's no problems.
