Hi I know this had been asked severla times but due to the search faciltity being down atm im finding it difficult to find a straight answer. I have the basic setup:

Asus P4C800 Deluxe

P42.8C

Sapphire ATI 9800 PRO 128mb

Corsair 512mb LLPT

I have overclocked my CPU and memroy atm but I am gona push it more onceI have my ATI card in there (got geforce 4 in there this minute).

My basic question is:

I want to overclock with good performance and stability so which driver should I get, i have seen 3.7 is popular but I would like to have you guys opinion? Also I was just wandering is there any software that removes NVidia drivers from my PC?

Thanks

The search function should be back up now... maybe give it another shot. Not sure on which driver is best.

I'd just run the latest ATi driver.

I'd just run the latest ATi driver.

The latest cats may not be the best performing for benchmarking though.

You should check the 3dmark forum for this answer, that would be a better place to ask.

Based on another website's test of all the driver revisions from 3.5 to present, I'd say go with the latest driver. Performance difference between fastest and slowest driver sets was 1%-4%. You won't notice this (unless a few bragging points in 3dmark is important to you) but you are likely to have more compatible drivers if you use the latest version.
