Hey all.
i havn't been crunching in a while...dunno why. maybe to lazy to turn seti on....well except for the fact i need to Re-install it again, since i had to re-install windows only a few weeks ago...and i did that once before, about a month before that.
But, i just ordered a new AMD XP 2600+ mobile. ( i have that sitting in my room now ) and i just ordered a new DFI-LANPARTY B motherboard, with some OCZ EB 3500 RAM. i'm going to try to hit at least 240 FSB, get a speed near or more ( hopefully ) 2.6Ghz.
once i get that all up and running again, i can't wait to see my new Speeds for crunching. Since my current setup takes from 3-4 hours per WU ( depending on AR ). i am hoping to drop those times a bit.
anyone else around here know what times this setup could give? because i know a few members around here have pretty much the same setup as i am getting ( they may have the 2600+ mobile ) and some may have the DFI-Infinity, just wondering if anyone who has that setup, that possibly crunches, might share how long it takes them to crunch.
