1st boot up:Checksum error, so i clear cmos
2nd boot up:All ok.harddisk found, dual channel ram found, combo drive found, proceed to format hardisk.
format 100% liao.dunno check system setup watever.then prompt for reset.
Reset liao.stuck at no display.
3rd boot up:after trying clearing cmos but still cannot.now give up liao.come here seek u all advice.Y i so suay one.At first format finish liao happy.thought can proceed to install xp.But cannot.
Whenever I get that error it's usually a problem with the RAM. Try disabling dual channel in the BIOS or using just one stick then see what happens.
Post your full system specs, also try running memtest86
http://www.memtest.org/
When you run memtest test one stick at a time.

Strip your system down so that all that's attached is the video card, CPU (w/ HSF obviously), RAM, and power button/light. That will narrow it down.

This is the best way to do it, build your system with only the required parts mobo, PSU, CPU & cooler, vid card, 1 stick of RAM, 1 HDD, and make sure it is all installed right (CPU in socket flat with cooler touching flat across the core) card / memory in socket tight / square, and cables connected right (ATX locked in molexs ATA/floppy and switches). Clare the CMOS and try again and continue till windows is full operational then add the rest of you components 1 at a time.
