I know I didn't really "mod" myself, but I did pump up my voltage. So I'm sitting here working on my PSU, when I accidently touch one of the capacitors with a screw driver. I was shocked. It didn't hurt much, but I decided that I need to have somebody watch me. That's when I realized that it would probably be bad if my family came in and realized that I still had the PSU plugged in . yeah, it was a mistake, but I'm fine and it only left me light-headed for a few minutes.

Lol! You left the power supply plugged in!?! Haha, oh well, I guess we all do stuff like that sometimes. Good thing you only got a small shock, though.

ahhhhh good god ppl shouldn't play around with electronics unless they know what they're doing.......

you do realize that with having it in and playin around with the caps you could have caused some severe damage to yourself? go look up some of syndicate's posts to see how he fried all the nerve endings in one of his arms.....

sheesh

there is a tiger in the psu. the big capacitors can severely shock or kill u.(not to mention the 110 volts) when working on a psu u must unplug it and take a 10 ohm resistor (heavy duty) and discharge the big power caps. thank god ur not permanently injured...

LOL, Evertime someone does something stupid, I see these safety posts and it cracks me up, I hate voltage, I don't even like to change a fan in my psu, I've got grabbed by 110V before, It hurts like hell
