Time To Overclock

OK, ive decided now ive just bought my new cpu (which is working fine) i have room to overclock as my tempratures are very low!

Ok, i have got 1 AMD MP 2400, & A XP 2400 L5 Modded (By myself :attn: )

I want to overclock via the multipliers on my cpu, because the facility in my motherboard only allows FSB increase! (pathetic difference)

So i was wondering if anyone knows how i do it etc. I have a conductive pen, has anyone got a link for some diagrams or anything?

i am looking at it as i speak, im going to go with the underneath thing i think.

Next problem is Vcore.

Ok, im quite a newb at overclocking and i was thinking about 9X multipliers so i would end up with 2.4ghz. I may even go for 2.5ghz but i need to set a vcore. What would you reccomend, thanks!

AMDs can handle a lot of voltage and very few Intels can handle a lot of voltage. Intels should stay in the 1.625-1.7 range while i've seen quite a few AMD users pushing well over 1.8. Just depends on your CPU and cooling.

The machine is in my signature and the cpus i think are going up to 18 or 20 multiplier.

Please advise me a sensible V-core, thanks.

Also is it possible to get somone to do the overclocking for me, im scared that i will break it, to fine tracks for me etc. Anyone in the geordie area UK come do it for me LOL

I would try 18x and then see if it is stable..If it is raise the FSB to get even more speed
