I get oodles of harddrive errors when i up the pci clock, even just a little to like 35mhz. This is on my albatron k8x800 mobo, using the onboard SATA raid chip. Anyone know a good remedy to this situation, I heard that simply getting a SATA RAID PCI card would solve the problem? That doesnt make any sense to me though. Any ideas?

Why are you upping the PCI slot? Don't do that, it's very bad.

the pci clock is automatically uppedn when i increase my FSB. There is no lock, nothing i can do aboout it. its either that or no oc

Yup, without PCI/AGP locking, u're screwed.

Only solution is to get a SCSI Card and run some SCSI drives off it as these don't source the clocking from the system bus. They have their own clock generators on the controller card.

It's either that, or get a mobo that has PCI/AGP lock, or don't OC :(
