I taked this drive from my frend, installed it in my PC, pushed CD into it and... :confused: nothing. The drive does not recognise it! I used the same drive month ago and it worked without problems, but now...
What is the problem? The drive died or what? Please, help me if you can.

P.S. I installed the lastest firmware a3210d_e.

Are you sure you didnt kill it when you flashed the firmware?

Are you sure you didnt kill it when you flashed the firmware?Yes. I instaled the new firmware after I looked that the drive does not recognize CD's.
