What are some good FREE first person shooters?

Hey guys, been digging through some games today to pass time...cant get quake to function for god only knows why, nor can me and my freinds get the demo....only a few of us have wolfenstein....

So i found out about Enemy Territory...ive played it...cool and all, high on resources...then heard about amricas army...i tried DLing it but low and behold microsoft internet explorer crashed during download....

So im curious now, i know of 2 great games out there that are first person shooters....what are some others?

I used to play ET but for some reason my comp quits out of the game and it wont support nvidia drivers past something like spring of last years....

Anyways, PLAY AMERICAS ARMY. IT IS AWESOME. Ill help you out if need be :D.

First sentance is wrong. PB didnt support the NV drivers, and they have released a fix months ago fixing that issue.

Not free, but pretty damn close...the original Unreal Tournament can be found around 5-10 bucks, Unreal 2 10 bucks, I bought Return to Castle Wolfenstein GOTY with Enemy Territory for 10 bucks at Target. Quake 3 GOTY 10 bucks.

I wish that I "could" get high speed internet. Where I live it still isnt available and probably wont be for a few years. Oh well, it keeps me being productive and doing more constuctive things I suppose lol. I just bought Max Payne 2 for $20 last week at Best Buy. Its been pretty fun so far.

Go to www.theprodukkt.com and download .kkrieger I mean its not the worlds best game, well its not even a good game, but its a 96Kb (Yes thats Kb) and it even uses pixel shaders
