I'm about to install this vid card. Is anyone aware of any install bugs or driver concerns?

(I intend to use the drivers that were included on the accompanying CD)

If you have nVidia's Detonator drivers for a TNT/TNT2 or GF Vidcard that's already in the box, it'll be best to remove all the drivers for it that you can. Getting rid of drivers can be a royal pain. You may need to boot into Safe Mode to do it.

Elsa drivers are their own, and not generic Detonators from nVidia. Personally, I like my Elsa GF 256 a lot. Too bad that it's greedy for power, and radiates heat like crazy! It's not Elsa's fault, all the original GF's are piggy for power and heat.

After installing the Elsa driver from the CD-ROM, I suggest going to elsa.com and DLing, then installing the latest driver for your model of Vidcard.

If your performance seems slow, try some Nvidia drivers (I use the 12.90) form here (http://speshalk.dyndns.org:1812/programs/nvidia%20drivers/).
