I own a Legal copy of Windows 95, still have the pretty little CD, but no computers with is installed,
I have a older laptop to play with, no USB, no CDrom drive, it has Win3.11 I would like to find Win95 on floppies someplace, I know Win95 is junk, but the girl I am giving this too, knows win98/me, so 95 will work for her best.
can anyone help me out, direct me to a download page, or hook me up with disk files, I can provide proof of ownership of the CD if needed, though this is a discontinued unsuported product and should not matter.

Remember the rules you clicked 'I Agree' on when you joined? Maybe you missed it, but rule #6 states:
Quote:
6. ABSOLUTELY no posting of Warez (Pirated Software), Cracks or links to Warez or Cracks sites. All such sites are illegal and pose a threat to our continued existence. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Well, asking this falls under that.

he's not asking for a pirated version....
he's asking for software that microsoft no longer sells..... they don't support it, they don't make it, they don't sell it, and he doesn't want to steal it.
This may do it for you:

Good luck!

nice link hafa, though the page doesn't work properly with Firefox, I might be able to make a quality copy of my 95a disk using that method,
and WOW 29 floppies, I think I need to find a way to make 29 ghost Floppies on my HDD, and buy 5 quality floppies I can format as needed during the installation.
Madman22, if you follow my post history you will see I have posted that rule, and many others quite a few times, I did not feel my post broke rule 6, because a) I Own windows 95, b) it is a discontinued Microsoft Product now unsuported, so I am unable to deal with them, c) under fair use laws people are permitted to have back up coppies of software/music/movies they legally own, in multiple formats, in my case, I would like the format to be floppy disketts, but did not know the means by which to do that.
Anyone know which disks of the win95 installation are not required? I know win98 was shrunk to 32mb install so win95 must beable to be shrunk to 100mb install
