I've read in other forums that this works pretty well. Apparently it is sold at wall mart.

If you want to have te car shop do it tell them you want House of Kolors paint. They were the first and also the best at the color changing paint. The duplicolor one is ok but no matter what I did I could get a mirror finish.

The house of kolors paint is really nice but expensive. Worth every penny though.

I will second that. Not to offend any one but that looks bad enough as it is without that paint. The paint would look neat on a case but not crisp enough for me.

guess again... last i heard that stuff was 500 bucks a PINT... 8 pints per gallon, so thats $4000 gallon. Its spendy stuff. That was a few years ago though, it might be cheaper now.

i want an alienware case, its all the reputation to mr joe average that you have an alienware plus you get a cool looking albeit cheap case. Those things are huge but flmisy as hell, their like 1/16 at the most thick.

just a FYI ... house of kolor wasn't the first company ... Dupont was ...

duplicolor makes a cheap 'mirage' paint that works for painting cases

read up on alienware and you wont be so impressed, let's just say that customer satisfaction is not as high as you might expect. the chameleon look is pretty sweet, regardless of who did it first.

so, after hearing all these replies, are you still expecting to have it done professioanlly or will you do it yourself?

A type of paint that would work great for this is "illusions" paint made by sherwin-williams. You can go to their site to find more information on paints that you are looking for.
