Read one of the debug guildes out there, most of them are pretty good and would save me time listing all the things that could have gone wrong, I would like to help but I need more info. First look at teh FAQs if they don't help come back with all the info such as FSB, motherbaord ur using, ram, bios, chip rev etc...
Here's a suggestion. Once you think you've successfully unlocked the bridges then lower the clock multiple. It just may be that your chip actually has a 750mhz limit (I doubt it but it is technically possible). If it runs lower then you at least know that you've unlocked it properly. Also, like train22 said we'd need a lot more info to try to narrow down the problem.
my mobo is a msi k7t pro2a ........ram - 2 sticks of 64mb pc133 apacer ......video card is generic tnt2 that clocks good but my duron 750 sucks........used to clock it at 818 raising the fsb to 109......and i think it can go higher if i unlock it.......ive tried 4 different #2 pencils but didnt work.........what should i do??? have u tried pencils??? what brand of pencil should i use or is the best for unlocking the processor??
I'm using a penciled 800@1053. I used a generic mechanical pencil, the kind that has replaceable leads. I've never used a MSI socket A board so I don't think I'll be able to help as much as others, sorry.
Good luck.
