Mobo: Abit KT7A
Next week i want to upgrade.
Don't know if i should go for a 1.4 or 1.33TB.
Which is better for overclocking?
i also need a new heatsink.
Cause it's a musicPC, i need low noise.
Which HS? I saw that NoiseControlSilverado seems to be quite good - but it's expensive.
Does anyone have alternative suggestions?

Welcome to the forums Helmut.

Right now I would go with the 1.4 since prices droped a ton even from a few days ago. I got a 1.33 from newegg before the price drop and its excelent. Newegg guarenteed me a AYHJA core so I didn't bother spending the $60 extra (at the time) for a 1.4. With a 1.4 you are guarenteed a AYHJA but with a 1.33 there is some chance it wont.

The 1.4 is the way to go! The price is right!

Thank you all for your replies.

Any alternatives to NoiseControlSilverado?

glaciator is nice...isn't too costly and is very quiet

I'd also go with the 1.4 and the Glaciator.

I agree with all on the 1.4 But I would get the SK6 and delta 38 cfm fan.Because you want to overclock and in that case you need a really good sink not just good.
