Axail Fan Airflow Direction T/F?

I recently found out on another post that an axail fan wouldn't give airflow straight out and that you would lose cfm, how do I do it that I don't lose any? Do i put it a bit to the side? what side? or is there a better solution?

you don't loose cfm, you just loose the quality of airflow. Read Hoot's cohesive air cooling article.
