I have an IBM ThinkPad T40 and it has a mobil 7500 video card. It works fine and I have the drivers all up to date. But I dont have any where in the properties to set anything other then the refresh rate (I can only select 60 with my laptop screen). Now I remember awhile back for my 9500 the ATI drivers and the ATI control panel were 2 diffrent programs. Is that the same with the mobil cards? I dont know if it just does not have options or needs me to DL the control panel.

The ATI site says for mobil cards you need to get them from the laptop maker. Then it gives you links to pages that have links to the computer makers. I got the newest off the IBM site

http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=0&q1=t40&uid=psg1MIGR-41918&loc=en_US&cs=utf-8&cc=us&lang=en

Maybe IBM has its own kinda of control panel... thats why I was thinking somone with a IBM thinkpad might be able to help.

This will allow you to install the standard Catalyst drivers on your laptop: http://www.driverheaven.net/patje/
