Doing it from the inside of the panel side? Or is there a difference? That way if I slip or scratch it it's on the inside and not on the outside? Perhaps this has been thought of before but this just occured to me heh.
Thanks!

I don't think there's much chance of slipping, I'd cut it from the inside so you won't have permanent marker marks on the outside of your case.

Just use a pencil to mark it out, that way you can rub off the lines when you're done. I personally cut from the inside just in case I do slip, it has been known to happen :)

i've heard that if you take some masking tape and tape around the intended cut area you can eliminate the problem of slipping and cutting up your case. use the wide kind so you don't have to tape so much. i've heard it works

It doesn't matter what my computer looks like because if it did I would have gotten an IMAC. I just run it with the side of my case off and the fans are set up with my dad's old erector set.

OH HELL YES!
Cases are beige, grey, or black. Not "grape" or "blueberry." Those are fruits! The ONLY time a computer case should be something other than beige, grey, or black, is when you do it YOUR DAMN SELF!

jsut wanted to point it out, that it doen'st really matter because remember you have that black rubber to cover up a little bit of the edges so it doesn't matter.
