Best computer ever! but far cry wont fun. HELP!

OKAY I have a pentium system with with a 166ghz processor!! and a geforce 1 card with 6MB OF RAM!! with the speekers built into the monitor! my freind told me "You can't even run half life on that peace of ****" but he just jelous cause my system is so much sweeter then his. This system rocks... but for im tryin to load far cry onto it but it wont install. can someone please tell me why? do i need to upgrade my ram? i mean i have 12mb of system ram the guy at teh flee market told me its the best computer availble right now n in a while because microsoft went out of busines! :-D i baught it for only 2000$ :-D! so yea why wont Far cry load?!!? i put it in the cd-rom n it loads n then nada. HELP!
