I've compared two computers crunching. Specs are:
P4C800-E DX
2.4C @ 260 FSB
1:1, 3-4-4-8
3.12 GHz
Epox 4PCA3+
2.6C @ 235 FSB
1:1. 2-2-2-6
3.06 GHz
Can anyone guess which one is faster and by how much? (Avg WU completion time)

i think the 2.6C i reckon it does 2 work units in about 2.5hours

Should be the 2.4C, with the FSB at 260. (unless the ram timings screw up this theory)

They are both the same. I thought the 2.6C would be quicker, but it's not.
Right now they're averaging 3:00 flat every two WU's.
The ram at cas 3 will kill most of the benefit of running the bus at 260.

Maybe I should see if I can run 2.5-4-4-8. I know 2.5-4-3-8 is our ot the question.
TC, do you think it would make a big differece if I only switched from Cas 3 to 2.5?

it properly will knock off about 10mins every 2 WU's

So far the RAM is running stable at 260 FSB, 2.5-4-4-8. It wasn't able to do this on my IC7 though.
