I just got a Hercules Kyro 2 card and cannot seem to configure the refresh rate for games correctly. My desktop settings are fine at 1024*768 with 100 hz but in games that are run at the same resolution I get only 60 hz. I have tried the power strip program but cannot seem to find where to change the individual display settings. Are there any other programs I can use to do this?

I am not real familiar w/ the Kyro 2, but here is a link to a Kyro 2 tweaker;

Nope. That one only gives you access to changing the clock/memory speed only. The Kyro Tools XP program does that as well as several others but they don't have a version out yet that allows you to change the refresh rate in Windows 2000.

Don't worry its not your Card.. Its WIN2K ..... You have to find a program that Sets your Refresh rate to 100mhz...
The program is called NVreffix.zip ... Try tweakfile.com ( don't know the exact name of the website)
But try to find this program on the net..

Thanks for the help but both of those programs are only for the NVIDIA cards. :(

The one thing I noticed is that it only occurs in OpenGL based games like Quake 3. The only option I can get no matter what resolution is 60 hz refresh. With Direct3D games like Red Fraction (I believe) I get the 100 hz refresh at the same resolution.
