Ok, just got me a fairly new Radeon 9700 pro. I watched it work shortly before I removed it and installed it in my comp.

Heres how it went, I installed the card, nothing. No screen, I get a beep code thats 1 long 3 short, meaning video card not installed. WTF.

I unplug the power cord from the card, and try to get the warning message. I get it, and it does the contant beep for the warning message.

Plus the card back in, gives me the video card not installed beep again.

I cant figure it out. Is my power supply weak? Its 300 watts.

I have an Asus TUSL2-C.

Latest (hacked) bios too. Everythings stock for now.

Its:
Mobo: ASUS TUSL2-C
Proc: Intel Celeron Tualatin 1300 (backed down to stock for now, while troubleshooting)
Mems: 1 128 1 256 generic ram
Two network cards
One sound card
Two HDDs
Two CD-roms

The old card was a GeForce 4 MX440.

k, I got it to boot. It is so unstable. I do believe my PSU sux. The card is pulling so much power out of my board that its sucking away from the proc and whatnot.

Ive got a 350 watt, but maybe I should save up for a 500 watt or something. Or a board with a P4 connector.
