Alright there is a Dremel 7.2V Multipro Cordless, at 10K to 20K RPM, 50 accesoriess, 3hr charger, and carrying case is this a good deal at 35.88?
i paid $60 for my multipro with no accessories at home depot a year and a half ago...and its not cordless.

Has it worked well for your mods?
i got it to mod paintball stuff origonally, i have not used it for many computer mods yet, but its a MUST have for modding. best tool ever. if i could get another one for $40, with accessories, i would. cordless, too...i'm nto a fan of cordless but at that price you cant go wrong. you sure its a dremel brand? other brands dont have enoguh "uumph", or power.
personally i'd go with a corded, but its the best tool you'll ever own.
the bearings are starting to go on mine, its terribly abused...but i love it...wehn it dies, i'll get a new one ASAP.

Does anyone else think it's lame that Dremels don't last 5+ years? My dad has a corded and cordless Dewalt hand drill. I know for sure those won't be dying anytime soon or show any signs of aging.

what 10,000 to 20,000 rpm is too weak to do simple case mods like taking of fan grills?

in my views that the cordless version of the dremal is not that powerful and the batterys dont last that long but that is me i wouldnt give up on my corded version anyday
i'd never go cordless over corded...batteries are weak and prone to running out when you dont have time for it.
although a detatchable corded / battery powered would be nice, a good iether or type deal so you could use the battery when a cord is a bad thing to have, and the cord when you dont need the wire gone....that would be nice.

The new Dremel L-Ion is a cordless with 35k RPM. Not sure what the battery life is though. =\ If you wanted a cordless Dremel, I would think that is the way to go.
